DESCRIPTION: Prague is a city divided by the Vltava River. On the west bank is Prague Castle and surrounding it is the area of Prague called Lesser Town that grew up supporting the Castle and villas of the nobles. On the east bank is Old Town the historic commercial center of the city. In the center of medieval Old Town is old town square which is still the cultural and commercial center of the city and a three-minute walk from the NCState College of Design Prague Institute.
