DESCRIPTION: Spring semester at the institute includes a six credit hour design studio, three three credit hour seminars, and ample opportunities for specially arranged independent studies. The studio is limited to fifteen students and both NCState College of Design Faculty and Czech experts in architecture, urban design, and history teach the curriculum. The College of Design prides itself on providing a design education based on a strong studio structure supported by low student faculty ratios and individualized instruction.
