Will began at the College of Design in January 2008 working in the Departments of Art+Design and Landscape Architecture. He graduated from NC State University in 2006 with a B.A. in Communication Media and a B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature. As a student, Will was Lead Outreach Manager for the NCSU Office of Annual Giving Outreach Center, in charge of coordinating student fundraising efforts for academic programs for the whole university.

Will has much international exposure and work experience, having studied abroad in Vienna, Austria and Lima, Peru, while at State. Upon graduating, he moved to Europe for a year, doing special event planning for organizations in London (including the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Institution of Civil Engineers) and then in Valencia, Spain, eventually leading him back to Cambridge where he chauffeured river tour boats in the British style of gondolas called Punting.

Will currently works for the College of Design providing administrative support to the Department Head of Landscape Architecture and the Director of the School of Architecture Graduate Program. Will plans meetings, events, departmental academic year calendars, interview and new hire processes, and human resource facilitation. He is a liaison with regular correspondence between students, faculty, university administrators, prospective students, design professionals and the general public. Will also collaborates with Student Affairs during the admissions process for the LAR department and works with the College community on the implementation of special projects.

In addition to his current position, Will is a highly involved volunteer; acting as the Raleigh Team Leader for the live music nonprofit voter registration organization known as HeadCount. This year Will has been spending most of his free time staffing and coordinating volunteer teams at special events, concerts, and festivals across the country and especially in the Raleigh metro area. He is also a liaison between volunteers, HeadCount reps, venue officials, and music artist managers. His interests include: working out, spicy food, music, camping, and spending time with friends and his husky puppy.
