| The NCSU chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects is a national student organization that consists of landscape architecture students, both graduate and undergraduate. The ASLA functions as a liaison between the student body and the College administration by isolating student issues and communicating them effectively to the administration. The ASLA also serves as a liaison between the students and the professional community by organizing open house events with local landscape architecture firms and other related agencies. In addition, the ASLA also sponsors a lecture series, graphics workshops and other activities aimed at building a bridge between the students and professional community. Other activities include a student chapter newsletter, parties, raffles, fund raisers and charettes. |
