Graduate minors are available to all students and consist of nine credit hours of courses in 400-level or above in another graduate degree granting discipline. A member of that degree's faculty may serve as a third member of the student's final project committee. Also, students have a choice of completing a final project supervised by their committee or, if an advanced studio is being offered that matches his/her research interests, they may substitute the studio for the final project. If they elect the studio option, the committee serves as an additional studio faculty critique. The student must produce an individual report on the studio work which summarizes his/her research and design activities for the semster.
